Meet Michele Adams APRN, FNP-BC, MSCP

The Education Behind the Passion

Michele didn’t arrive here by accident. She built this — credential by credential, year by year — because she refused to accept that women deserved anything less than complete, thoughtful, personalized care.

It started over 27 years ago with a degree in dietetics. Food as medicine wasn’t a trend for Michele — it was the foundation. But she wanted to do more, so she went back. Then went back again. And again.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Daemen University, then her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from D’Youville University right here in Buffalo — adding graduate studies in nutrition and functional medicine at the University of Western States along the way.

But the degrees are only part of the story.

Michele holds advanced certifications that most providers simply don’t have:

  • Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) — one of the most rigorous credentials in women’s hormonal health
  • Institute for Functional Medicine — trained to find and treat root causes, not just symptoms
  • Institute for Integrative Nutrition — certified health coach with a whole-person lens
  • Heather Hirsch Academy Women’s Hormone Therapy Specialist — advanced clinical training in hormone therapy for women
  • NYS Certified Diabetes Lifestyle Coach
  • Member, North American Menopause Society (NAMS)

All of it — every degree, every certification, every hour of continuing education — exists for one reason: to give you the most complete care possible.

Michele isn’t interested in being part of a healthcare system that waits for you to get sick. She’s here to keep you well, help you thrive, and make sure you never have to fight to be taken seriously again.

Finding a Different Path to Wellness

While working within dietetics, Michele felt a desire for a more hands-on approach to better manage her patients’ care. Most of her nursing career has been in labor and delivery, mother/baby, and infertility, so she has 12-14 years of experience in women’s health. For the past 5 years she has also worked in OB/GYN clinics as a NP.
